Structure Introduction for SM6 Series Schneider Electric Products Medium Voltage Switchgear

 

 

Switchgear structure

There are five compartments:

1. Switch compartment: load switch, disconnecting switch or earthing switching is sealed inside the gas chamber full of SF6 gas. There is one three-position load switch whose shell is casted by epoxy resin installed in switch compartment and SF6 gas is the insulation medium. There in observation hole on the shell. Gas pressure gauge can be installed on load switch according to the requirement of costumer.

2. Busbar compartment: every busbar is on the same horizontal surface. The switchgear body can be extended at two sides. The connection among the switchgears is easy and convenient.

3. Cable compartment: Front connection cable is easy to connect with switch and earthing switch terminal. When work as transformer protection, install earthing switch under the fuse of this compartment.

4. Operation mechanism compartment: proceed operation of open, close or earthing. And there is relative indication.

5. Control protection compartment: there is low-voltage fuse, relay protection device, wiring terminals. If the space is not enough, add low-voltage compartment on the top.

 

CB cabinet structure

There are five compartments:

3. Cable compartment: front operation and it is easy to connect with CB. CT and PT can be installed if necessary. There are two types of CB in this compartment:

 

l  SFset: there is auto protection device and special sensor ( No need auxiliary power)

l  SF1: There is comprehensive protection relay and standard sensor. Auxiliary power is needed.

 

4. Operation mechanism compartment: the  operation mechanisms of disconnecting switch, CB and grounding switch are installed in this compartment. And there is relative position indication. Motor operation mechanism can be installed too.

 5. Control protection compartment: there is low-voltage fuse, relay protection device, wiring terminals. If the space is not enough, add low-voltage compartment on the top.

 

Contactor cabinet structure

1. Switch compartment: disconnecting switch and  earthing switching is sealed inside the gas chamber full of SF6 gas. There is one three-position load switch whose shell is casted by epoxy resin installed in switch compartment and SF6 gas is the insulation medium. There in observation hole on the shell. Gas pressure gauge can be installed on load switch according to the requirement of costumer.

2. Busbar compartment: every busbar is on the same horizontal surface. The switchgear body can be extended at two sides. The connection among the switchgears is easy and convenient.

3. Cable compartment: there is one grounding switch inside. PT, CT and fuse can also be installed. There are two types of contactors in this compartment:

l  Rollsrc400 with magnetic lasting

l  Rollarc400D with mechanical blocking device

4. Operation mechanism compartment: it is to install operation mechanism through which we can operate disconnecting switch, contactor 400 or 400D, grounding switch. And there is relative position indication.

5. LV Control compartment: install  relay, test terminals.  If the space is not enough, add low-voltage compartment on the top.
